MAP's Block Party 2026

  • 1 min read

Community outreach continues to be at the heart of the work we do. We were honored to recently participate in MAP’s Block Party on Jefferson in Los Angeles, where we connected with community members and shared resources focused on wellness, support, and breast cancer awareness alongside and other community organizations committed to health equity.

Through our CHAMP program, we were also able to provide navigational screening assistance to help attendees access to low and no cost breast cancer screenings and connect to important preventative care resources. Events like these create meaningful opportunities to meet people where they are, answer questions, reduce barriers to care, and help individuals take proactive steps toward their health.

From sharing educational materials to engaging in heartfelt conversations, every interaction mattered. We are grateful for the opportunity to stand alongside organizations committed to improving health outcomes and strengthening communities through outreach, education, and compassion.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our table and spent time with us. Together, we continue building healthier, more informed, and empowered communities.

Our Vision

"A future where African American women do not bear the unequal burden of breast cancer caused by systemic inequities — but are supported, seen, and served through a culturally responsive lens, with equitable access and care."
