The Bahati Foundation Supports Cancer Survivors Through Annual 100 Kits Ride, Donates to My Sister My Friend Breast Cancer Support LOS ANGELES, CA.— This past August the Bahati Foundation proudly hosted its annual 100 Kits Ride on Saturday, August 12, honoring cyclists who are cancer survivors and organizations dedicated to cancer awareness. This meaningful event took place in Marina Del Rey, California, where the Bahati Foundation presented a generous donation to My Sister My Friend Breast Cancer Support.
The event brought together an enthusiastic community of over 200 Bahati Foundation supporters and friends; all clad in the latest Bahati Foundation Cycling Kits, pink/white and blue themed color kits were thoughtfully designed to pay tribute to cancer survivors while raising awareness of their inspiring journeys. These distinctive cycling kits are available for purchase through the foundations online store: https://www.bahatifoundation.org/cycling-kit-store.
Rahsaan Bahati, a 10-time US champion professional cyclist and the founder and president of the Bahati Foundation, spoke passionately about the motivation behind this initiative: “Ken Vinson, a Bahati Foundation supporter brought the idea to recognize cyclist that were cancer survivors and he encouraged me to design the new cycling kit. With all the racial disparities in healthcare in communities of color we were compelled to make a difference.”
