Empowering Women for Health Equity: A CHAMPs program advocate at a community event, supported by QueensCare, breaks barriers to care and raises awareness for breast health.

A Special Thanks!

We are grateful to QueensCare for their generous support of our CHAMPs Program (Community Health Advocate Members Program) and their commitment to advancing breast health equity in Los Angeles County.

CHAMPs are trusted community advocates who provide culturally responsive breast health education, promote early detection, and support women as they navigate screening and follow-up care. The program centers Black women, who continue to face disproportionate breast cancer disparities due to systemic barriers in access and health literacy.

QueensCare’s support allows us to expand our community-based outreach and ensure more women receive the education, guidance, and support they deserve.

Thank you, QueensCare, for partnering with us to create meaningful change and improve breast cancer outcomes—one empowered woman at a time. 💗

Our Vision

"A future where African American women do not bear the unequal burden of breast cancer caused by systemic inequities — but are supported, seen, and served through a culturally responsive lens, with equitable access and care."
