Rooted In Resilence 2026

Healing truly can take root in community. Our Rooted in Resilience field trip to the Meet Me In the Dirt Wellness Retreat was more than we ever imagined — it became a powerful and restorative experience for cancer survivors seeking space to breathe, reflect, connect, and heal together.

Participants journeyed through thoughtfully designed spaces with names like Worthy, Love, Cherish, and more — each one intentionally created to encourage reflection, healing, and self-discovery. The experience included guided, thought-provoking exercises, at times with closed eyes, inviting participants to reconnect with memories, feelings of safety, self-worth, and inner peace. Even the soil itself symbolized the heart — reminding us that healing begins from within and that, with care and nurturing, resilience can continue to grow.

The day created meaningful moments of emotional connection, vulnerability, joy, and support in a nurturing environment. Experiences like these remind us that healing is not only physical — it is emotional, mental, and deeply rooted in community care. We are honored to walk alongside survivors on their journeys toward healing and resilience, and we are extremely grateful to for helping make this meaningful experience possible.
