Clinical research is medical research involving people. There are two types of clinical research: observational studies and clinical trials.
As it relates to clinical trials, studies reflect that those of us from Communities of Color are less likely to be offered clinical trial participation. Therefore, one must be inquisitive and advocate for themselves.
The year 2022 held groundbreaking research and many advances in medicine for treatment of breast cancer (to include metastatic). As such, 2023 holds great promise.
