About the Event

This is our annual health outreach and the conclusion of our Waterfront Wellness series. A project sponsored in part by the Port of Long Beach and the Plastic Surgery Foundation. This event is back by popular demand. You asked and we listened. We have again partnered with Women of Color Breast Cancer Survivor's Support Project to bring you this event.

It will host an Ask the Doctors panel with doctors from breast health disciplines, and a behavioral therapist. This event will also feature live entertainment, vendors, gifts and door prizes and an elegant dining experience. It is open to the public but does require registration. Seating is limited and will be filled on a first come, first served basis.

Because we are a grassroots, survivor run organizations and community leaders we take these opportunities to education our community on breast health, advances in treatment, the latest in breast reconstruction awareness(BRA), safety net resources and in addressing access to care issues faced by marginalized communities. Increasing health literacy and resources are vital to the health and wellness of the communities we serve. Get tickets now.

Last year's event was amazing and this year our panel also includes Claudia M. Davis Ph.D. - You don't want to miss this.

Our Vision

"A future where African American women do not bear the unequal burden of breast cancer caused by systemic inequities — but are supported, seen, and served through a culturally responsive lens, with equitable access and care."
